The ADV-light fairing kit is a lightweight cost effective solution to a longstanding problem with Enduro, Dual-Sport, and Mid-weight adventure motorcycles.
 
Without going to the extreme of a 400+ LB heavyweight adventure bike its hard to find protection from the wind and elements, simple mounting for additional switches / GPS, and improved lighting for those late night stretches to the next overnight camp.
And why pay thousands of dollars for a "Rally" style fairing that are comprised of plastic panels and an aluminum frame that provide no more protection, additional weight, and expensive to replace non-adjustable windshields?
 
The ADV-light was designed by and for minimalist Adventure riders that want to adapt their light weight adventure rigs to the demands of long distance riding and retain the ability to hit the gnarliest of trails by removing or dropping the windscreen up to 8" in a matter of seconds!
 
The main body and windscreen arms are constructed of powder coated aluminum with HDPE fork clamps to create a solid / lightweight mounting framework and results in an average kit weight of just 7.6 lbs. The body is purposefully designed to hug the front of the bike as close as possible to reduce the un-wanted effects of additional dampened weight over the front wheel of the motorcycle. By connecting the assembly to the front forks the lights turn with you on tight off-road trails at night providing greater visibility and by keeping the whole assembly lightweight and close to the fork pivot point we remove any negative effects that would be imposed on steering.
 
Our kit employs a polycarbonate windscreen cut and cold worked to shape which allows for superior clarity and a greatly reduced replacement cost because you wanna enjoy the trail not baby your windscreen. Most windshields supplied with more expensive kits while looking quite sleek and glamour shot ready are proprietary or OEM factory parts and expensive to replace when they get damaged / scratched. These windshields also allow for limited wind / weather protection due to their streamlined shape for looks with many riders reporting wind-load hitting their chest and/or helmet. Great for Dakar racers ducking behind the windshield at high speeds and showroom sales, not so much for riders in a seated upright position at normal speeds. 
Our upright windscreen with its abrupt angle to the oncoming air and flat clear "panels" creates a larger pocket of calm air for riders and completely optically clear view without the distortion of injection molded windshields. (Bend lines are optical annoyances however that are overshadowed by the amount surface area of clear flat viewing area we must concede)
Because of the focus on function over form riders of lightweight adventure bikes can now experience a new level of comfort on long journeys.
 
Not to mention all stainless steel hardware (with exception to zinc coated steel nuts to resist stainless cold fusing) for a stain free appearance. You'll be asking yourself why more aftermarket components don't include stainless hardware?
 
A dash with holes for mounting either a center AMPS mount (available separately) or one left and right as well as a set of holes to suit most Trail Tech ODO units gives the rider multiple options for setup.
 
A lower dash plate allows for re-mounting of factory indicator lamps, speedometer, switches, and/or a 12v USB charging port (sold separately) dependent upon the model. In some instances a choice of plates may be available to suit different configurations as well as custom made plates upon request.

The ADV-light fairing kit for the Honda XR650L has 2 different dash plates options for use with a OEM gauge set or a dash plate with mounting holes to suit Trail Tech Voyager Pro, Voyager, Striker, or Vapor.
